All week – the Children’s Museum has a variety of activities for the kiddos. From Reading Rocks to jumping frog origami, there is something for any kid to enjoy. Visit www.mymuseum.com for a full listing of this week’s events.
There are also several great sales happening Downtown. If there is something you’ve had your eye on, now might be a great time to come Downtown and see if you can’t make a deal on it!

1/13 – Thursday Morning Coffee at Village Cafe from 8:00am – 10:00am.

Good afternoon to all! There are some fun things happening in Downtown this week and in case you were wondering, the businesses are OPEN! Now is a great time to try out some of Downtown’s awesome restaurants without the usual wait.

This week is a short week for many. If you have plans that take you out of town, please travel safely. For those of you sticking around, here are this weeks events for you to enjoy!
First – please note that the DBA office will be closed 12/23 & 12/24. We will not have our weekly coffee this week.
12/21 – GAME DAY TUESDAY…of course! Pick up those last minute stocking stuffers while you can. Also, if you’ve got a party or event – Jim.n.i has fun, fabulous party dresses. Head over today and draw to see what discount you win!
12/22 – Ho! Ho! Ho! Ol’ Santa Clause himself will be at Papa Perez Mexican Restaurant this Wednesday from 5p-9p!! Come down and bring the kids for pictures. While you’re there, you might as well sit down and enjoy dinner. If you haven’t seen the new place, this is a great time to do so.
12/24 – at St. Andrews, Christmas eve services are 3:00, 5:30 and 10:30 p.m. (with organ music played up to midnight), cookies and cocoa will be served from 4-5 in the Parish Hall.

Well, this will be a short week for many of us work-wise, which means extra time to come play DOWNTOWN! IF you have family visitng, please consider bringing them down to stroll and shop the streets of our now beautifully lit downtown. Here are a few things going on this week:
- VOTE! Please come take a look at the holiday windows around downtown and text a vote for your favorite!
- VOTE again! Visit the Forsyth Gallery and bring non-perishable food items to place beneath the Christmas Tree of your choice. Trees have been decorated by local service and non profit organizations. All food item donations will go to the Brazos Valley Food Bank.
- Game Day Tuesday at Jim.n.i! Draw to see what discount you win. Fab finds at this great boutique will make great gifts this season.
- NO Thursday Coffee this week!
- Farmers Market Saturday 8:00am – 12 noon
- Salsa dancing at the Village Cafe starts at 11pm. Work off some of that Thanksgiving feast

- The new Downtown Bryan website is set to launch this Friday!! Though it will continue to evolve and features will be added through January 15th, the new site is set to go live at the end of the week. Get ready – it will be awesome!
